Kantorei

Kantorei (German for "choir" or "singers") is an open choir intended to provide the opportunity to sing for any interested student.  Though only starting its fourth year, this ensemble offers a unique experience for its diverse membership and has quickly advanced to sing intermediate level repertoire.  With members ranging from the freshman to senior class, Kantorei is a fun yet focused choir that performs throughout the year in various concerts as well as occasional leadership opportunities in KML's worship community.

This past school year, Kantorei participated in the Wisconsin School Music Association Choir Festival for the first time in its history.  Their hard work was rewarded with a unanimous first-place rating.

Kantorei continues to follow the strong choral tradition of KML and has grown to 90 members despite its brief existence.  Whether a student wishes to prepare for Concert Choir auditions or simply wants to sing for fun, this group offers an ideal fit.
