1 credit 2 semesters Grades 11-12

(Prerequisite: Science of Matter, Science of Energy, B- in Advanced Algebra (any or all of these prerequisites may be waved by approval of Physics instructor)

Physics provides an opportunity for students to further their understanding of the world that God has created by investigating the natural laws that govern our universe.  Course topics will include mechanics, thermodynamics, wave phenomena, optics, and electromagnetism.  This pre-college course requires students to design and perform experiments that will allow them to study the physical world.

Required Items: 83, 83Plus, 84, or 84plus graphics calculator, 3 ring binder with five tabs, planner, flash drive
