Physical Science of Energy (50125)
½ credit, 1 semester, elective, all
grade levels are eligible
The study of forces and their
interactions provides topics included in the Science of Energy.
Velocity, acceleration, simple machines, sources of energy, and
electricity are some of the topics that will be studied. Students will apply
their knowledge of these concepts to real life applications to enable them
to wisely use the energy God has created for us to use to his glory and
the welfare of others. It is intended to help prepare students for the
study of physics and to give the students who do not take physics a basic
understanding of the forces that God has created for our benefit.
A TI-83 or TI-84 is required, a
three ring binder with five tabs, and a flash drive.
