Awake and Alive Two-Day Christian Conference for Young Adults

Awake and Alive will be hosting a two-day conference January 5-6, 2018, at Wisconsin Lutheran College for anyone in the 18 to 25 generation. This year's theme is "Take Hold of the Gift."

The book of Philippians is often referred to as Paul's letter of JOY, and our theme this year is based on his encouragement in chapter 3:12, "Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me." (NIV) We talk about the "Gift" of God's grace that we have received freely through Jesus Christ, but what does it mean to really "take hold of the gift?" This year's conference will focus on ways we transition from "knowing" Christian information to taking hold of our relationship with God through Jesus Christ. As we do this, our identity will shift, we'll view shame differently, and be inspired to bring healing to the world. The conference will be filled with great devotions, speakers, breakout sessions, music and community time. www.awakealive.com has the full details.

Space is limited, so visit the website soon to register! Not 18-25 but still interested? Contact Jill Dunbar (jilld@awakealive.com) or Mike Westendorf (mike@mikewestendorf.com) to find out how you can help support this event.
