Girls’ basketball has 3 levels of participation: Varsity, Junior
Varsity, and Freshmen. The girls’ basketball program is very
competitive in our conference and tournament play. All high
school girls have the opportunity to play at the varsity level based
on tryouts. Selection of the teams is made during the first week
of tryouts which is usually the 2nd
week of November. The teams play between 17-20 regular season games. The
varsity team does compete in the WIAA state tournament series. Conference
games are usually played on Tuesdays, Thursdays or Fridays. Regular daily practices
are held during the week.
