The KMLHS Cheer team is made up of dedicated and enthusiastic athletes. These athletes devote a significant amount of time and effort to be part of a program that strives to be their best for God’s glory.

The head coaches have over 16 years of experience coaching cheerleading. They are dedicated to excellence, both athletic and academic. The athlete's faith and education are of the utmost importance to the coaches, and they are dedicated to helping their athletes have a successful high school career.

The current cheerleading program consists of a JV and varsity squad.  Both the JV and Varsity teams have been recognized for their talent at various competitions in the Midwest.  The JV team was named the 2008 & 2005 WACPC JAM State Champions.  The varsity cheer & stunt team was the Division III 2008, 2007, 2006, 2005, 2004, & 2003 WACPC Regional Champions, and four the past five years straight, held their title as Division III WACPC State Champions.

The football cheer team cheers for all home games, with the season running from late August to mid-October.  The basketball cheer team cheers for all boys and girls home games, with the season running from early November until the end of February.  Practices are normally two to three times a week.  Tumbling classes are also offered.  During the season, the JV and varsity squad normally compete in 3-4 competitions.

The team also offers a 4-day summer camp for 1-8th grade girls, a day clinic for 4-8th grade girls, and hosts their popular grade school cheer and dance competition.  The team also attends various camps and clinics throughout the season and is involved in several community service activities.

Selection of the varsity and JV squads occur in early March.
